Snoqualmie Valley Garden Club
As a 501c3, SVGC’s mission is to inform, educate, and inspire our members and the community in the art, science, and joy of gardening, while fostering a commitment to environmental stewardship.
November Meeting
'Designing Your Dream Garden in the Depths of December'
After you’ve planted the bulbs, and put the outdoor furniture away, it’s time to think about what you’d like to change in your garden for next year. Join SVGC Member Terry Pottmeyer as she discusses how to leverage the gloom, rain, and darkness of our PNW winter to design, redesign or tweak the design of your garden.
Come join us on Tuesday, November 11th, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Encompass (9050 384th Ave., Snoqualmie).
*We will be collecting donations for the food bank at this meeting*
It’s that time again …
Our membership period extends from January 1st to December 31st! Enjoy individual memberships for only $25, or opt for family memberships at $35—ideal for spreading the joy of gardening with another family member. Renewal is due December 31st. You can renew at a meeting or via the link below. Thank you for your continued support!
Dahlia Dividing Class
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15th from 10:00AM - 12:00PM
Our very own “Dahlia Diva,” Melody Granillo, will be hosting a dahlia tuber dividing class at her home. (Her address can be found in our November Newsletter.) Bring your own tubers or divide one of hers. Please contact her for more information at magsnoq@gmail.com.
🍂 Thank you for growing with us!
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in and contributed to the Snoqualmie Valley’s 3rd annual Oaktoberfest, a community event which promotes healthy ecosystems through the planting of native plants and trees. Together, we demonstrated how native plants support pollinators, conserve water, and create resilient landscapes that sustain both people and wildlife. We’re so grateful to our volunteers and guests for helping us cultivate a deeper appreciation for gardening in harmony with nature. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
Garden Together
The Encompass Child Development Center plays a vital role in our community, offering invaluable support to children and families. They graciously allow us to host our monthly meetings in their beautiful facility. As a token of our appreciation, we assist in maintaining the enchanting Children’s Sensory Garden. If you’d like to lend a hand and be a part of this meaningful effort, please reach out to Melody Granillo at magsnoq@gmail.com
